There’s a musical moment that’s so thrilling, and it’s when you already know a song, but then you hear a performance with a huge, awesome orchestra, and the song just becomes that much better. “One Day More!” on the tenth anniversary concert was like that for me. The Australian “I Am What I Am” just made experience that again. And then there’s this little thing, “The Bells of St. Sebastian” from the London concert version of Nine, with Jonathan Pryce as Guido, and a FREAKING HUGE ORCHESTRA AND CHORUS. It’s unbelievable.

Also, remember how this isn’t in the movie but a song for Kate Hudson about skinny ties is?
“Cinema Italiano” is a terrific song. Not as good as this, though.
